Oh, my beloved Tafseer :)

Bismillah

 Asalamualikum

I got this from my mail box. :)

What do you think of it?

Cell phone vs Quran

Ever wonder what would happen if we treated our Quran like we treat our cell phone?

  • What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?
  • What if we flipped through it several times a day?
  • What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?
  • What if we used it to receive messages from the text?
  • What if we treated it like we couldn’t live without it?
  • What if we gave it to kids as gifts?
  • What if we used it when we traveled?
  • What if we used it in case of emergency?

This is something to make you go….hmm…where is my Quran?

Oh, and one more thing.

Unlike our cell phone, we don’t have to worry about our Quran being disconnected.

Makes you stop and think ‘where are my priorities?’ And no dropped calls!

most gracious, most merciful :)

Bismillah

 Asalamualikum

Last week was hectic. Exceedingly hectic, I tell you. My time was fully occupied as I need to put in full commitment to Palestine fund rising event. As a whole, the event was a success, Alhamdulillah. Being part of the event, I was able to learn more about Palestine hence it made me more alert of the war and understand further about the situation now. Other than that, I get to bond with the akhowats and especially my Pau squad ;p

Subhanallah, our brothers and sisters have been standing up for Islam for so long and I really respect their strong enthusiasm. Occupation 101 caught my attention the most. People, do spend a little time reading articles on Palestine or just by googling the pictures in the internet and put yourself in their shoes. Can you live days without food, without electricity? Are you willing to live in terror and fight for the Muslims’ rights or would you just rather die? Are you even prepared to watch your parents, brothers and sisters and other relatives being kicked, shot in the head many, many times, being bombed and all? Would you still want to support Israelis products and indirectly kill your own Muslim relatives? It is up to you to judge and make your own conclusion.

Hanyways, other than Palestine issue, I’m here to share a nasyeed song by Raihan which is one of my favorites. The lyrics mean so much to me and hopefully to all of you as well, hehe. Do imeem or youtube or anything to listen to the song. :)

Raihan – Mengemis Kasih.

Tuhan dulu pernah aku menagih simpati
Kepada manusia yang alpa jua buta
Lalu terheretlah aku dilorong gelisah
Luka hati yang berdarah kini jadi kian parah

Semalam sudah sampai ke penghujungnya
Kisah seribu duka ku harap sudah berlalu
Tak ingin lagi ku ulangi kembali

Gerak dosa yang menghiris hati

Tuhan dosa ku menggunung tinggi
Tapi rahmat-Mu melangit luas
Harga selautan syukurku

Hanyalah setitis nikmat-Mu di bumi

Tuhan walau taubat sering ku mungkir
Namun pengampunan-Mu tak pernah bertepi
Bila selangkah kurapat pada-Mu

Seribu langkah Kau rapat padaku

Beautiful, MasyaAllah.

The last three paragraphs are very very beautiful..

Ya Allah (SWT), You are the Most Gracious and the Most Merciful :’)
